Noam Chen is an award-winning artist in the field of photography, specializing in Landscape and Portraits. His expertise and vast experience in Landscape photography helps Noam create unique results of world class quality. A combination of preliminary planning, carefully selected angles, and exclusive methods of post processing is part of what makes his art shine above the rest.
Noam began his career in Israel, before expanding to work in Europe and later in the United States, where he was granted an Artist Visa for individuals with extraordinary ability, by the US Government.
His work has been published in newspapers, books and magazines across the world, including The National Geographic Magazine, Entrepreneur, The Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, Le Figaro and Sunday Times Travel, among others.
In the early years of his career, Noam exhibited his work in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. His very first solo exhibition ranked the #1 ‘not to be missed’ event by Israel’s leading entertainment magazine “Pnai Plus”. Noam then participated in a special exhibition celebrating ‘Jerusalem Day’, which was coordinated by the Municipality of Jerusalem and displayed at the Israeli House of Parliament, The Knesset.
Noam’s work went on to be displayed in Paris, part of an exhibition by Israel’s leading Contemporary Artists. He also had solo exhibitions in Los Angeles, and had his work displayed in New York at the distinguished Anderson Contemporary Gallery in Manhattan.
Among his clients are government offices, real estate companies, galleries, select hotels and some of the world’s leading magazines.
Having been the official photographer of Jerusalem for the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, his photographs of the city are well recognized and regularly featured by embassies, municipalities and public figures across the globe.
Noam is often invited to capture the finest moments in formal and gala events worldwide. In recent years he documented high profile events, including the first visit by Pope Francis to Jerusalem and the Genesis Prize ceremony, presented by the Prime Minister of Israel. Noam has also been shooting concerts around the world, with his photographs being published by top artists including Mariah Carey and Gladys Knight who featured his work on their social media accounts.
More recently, Noam published a very personal photographic project depicting his perspective as a 3rd generation of Holocaust survivors, following a photo-shoot at the death camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau. His project went viral and was selected to be exhibited at the 2019 International Biennial of Photography in Colombia, South America, which revolved around the theme of Memory and Resilience. Noam’s exhibition remains on display at the National Photographic Museum of Colombia as part of the Museum’s permanent collection.
