Safed/Tzfat is not only a beautiful city blessed with an elevated position in the verdant region of the Upper Galilee. It also happens to be one of the four holiest cities in Judaism.

The city is said to have been founded in 70A.D and the son of Noah is said to have established Yeshiva here. During the 16th century Many scholars and notable Spanish Jews moved to Safed following their expulsion from Spain during the Spanish Inquistion.
The city is predominantly Orthodox and a real connection is made when visiting this city no matter what level of Judaism you practice.
Nowadays the old city with beautiful cobbled streets, crooked staircases and narrow alleyways has been transformed into an oasis for bohemian artists and small boutiques that line the walkways.

Tiberias boasts a picturesque city located in the lower region on the sea of Galilee. It is also the capital and administrative centre of the region not to mention, and more Importantly one of the four holy cities along with Safed, Hebron and Jerusalem. It boasts several Christian and Jewish holy sites such as the burial place of venerated jewish sages, hot springs and the charm of the Yigal Allon Promenade. There are many hotels and restaurants here so you could even bite the bullet and spend a night or two here to absorb the spirituality and magnificence of the sea of Galilee.
Mount Meron is the second largest mountain install after Mount Hermon. It stands over 1200 meters high and is blessed to many as being the resting place of the great Kabbalist, Rabbi Shimon Bar Yohai. As such, worshippers come from all over the world to pray here. Aside from this it also boasts the most magnificent nature trails and trekkers and ramblers alike will be swept away by the richness of the flora and fauna. The trail to the summit itself takes just over an hour to complete and the views stretch out across the Sea of Galilee, Tiberius and as far as Lebanon. Pure exhilaration.
